A Long Time Coming

Today marked number 24 in my long overdue recovery from my college days. Still weird to think that I no longer am in my college years but that is besides the point.

I have struggled my whole life with my desire for food and my desire of being smaller. These last 24 days I have participated in Advocare's challenge and my results are astonishing.

I am very proud of myself for not straying from this very intense and planned out eating and training routine. Couldn't have stuck to it without my family and friends support.

Love to all!

Where has the time gone!

Hello All!

I have been absent from this blog for around a year now and I am crazy sorry about it. I have been through a lot in the last year. I studied abroad in Rome for three months, amazing must I say! I entered my senior year of college and much much more.

I am working towards my final semester in college now and working on my portfolio and starting to apply for jobs.

I am going to be moving myself to a new blog for the new year! I will post here a link for my new blog within the next couple of days!

With Hugs & Kisses,

Jessie

A Day To Give Thanks

Today has been an amazing day full of food, family and more food. Even though I wasn't able to get all the way home to Michigan, I was able to get to my sisters in Pennsylvania. Here I got to hang out with my sisters two amazing kids, Kacey and Jack.

It's been an delightful day and I am extremely happy to be blessed with the great family that I have. Hope everyone's Thanksgivings have been just as great as mine!

(Also thought I'd toss in an old picture of my sister and I around this time of year 19 years ago!)

Perfect Day for a Parade

Yes. It is that time of year again to spend time with my family doing corny and weird holiday things. Such as going to odd dinners with distant relatives, sitting on Santa's lap at the mall, running around trying to pick up those last minute ingredients to your famous pumpkin pie or going to extremely lame holidays parades.

And what did my family and I do yesterday? Went to a Santa parade of course. While I poke fun at the some what quirky holiday traditions, they somehow provide great joy and excitement from my niece and nephew. Therefore the rest of us bare the torture and participate in this holiday tradition.

Plus it gave me some really cute pictures!

Happy Holidays.

Wild Weather

The last couple of weeks have given the city of Worcester and my small community of Assumption rocked with a wide variety of weather. First we got hit with Hurricane Sandy for couple days which lead to cancellation or school and one of home volleyball games. Within the next week we also got hit with the winter seasons first nor'easter which brought inches of snow. Most people were disturbed by this inconvenience to get class or other obligations that they had. For me I used it as an opportunity to take some pictures right outside of where I live in the aftermath of the storms.

Another Day in the Park

I was blessed enough to have a visit from my family a couple of weeks ago. In the time that they were here we had an amazing time doing a multitude of things. This gave me a great chance to get some amazing pictures of my niece and nephew. We found this cute little park where we were are able to play in the water and run around on the sand before the cold winter weather reached us. It was a great day and visit and made me feel so lucky to have the family I do.
