Birthday Wishes

This Fifth of July was my last and final day of being a teenager, before I finally turned 20 and entered the real world...well after two more years of college and some growing up, but still. It was a great day filled with three of my best friends, presents, cake, and loads of activity.

The day started with the 20 presents that my parents so cleverly put together. Some of them gag gifts and others i've been waiting for for a long time! Like a new lens for my camera and a killer sound system. As well as some great presents from my best friends that show just how much we mean to each other.

Then my mother planned a spectacular day full of activities, that was kept quiet until we all got our itineraries that morining...

The private class at Pure Barre was hands down the best workout any of us have ever had! I never thought that after all the lifts I, and Kelly, do for volleyball that we would have to put DOWN our 2 LBS weight because they were to heavy. Felt very weak at the moment!

Next we spent a long time getting our nails done but they all turned out fabulously and bright!

Funtyme did not disappoint, as per usual. I mean it says 'fun' 'tyme' in the title, how could it? Kelly and I both hit jackpots and got way to many unnecessary prices with our tickets, like stuffed turtles, temporary tattoos and glow in the dark vampire teeth. But going back to that part of much childhood, on a day like my 20th birthday, was great and reminded me all the things that led to me finally turning 20.

Finally we all came back and got dressed up to go to dinner at one of my favorite places to eat, PF Changs. It was by far the best dinner I have ever had, not just because of the great food, the conversation was amazing! The stories that were told, ones that I will NEVER forget. I am so lucky to have these three girls in my life and couldn't imagine spending my special day with anybody other than them, let alone any other day of my life.

After dinner it was the final leg in the day, we have ice cream cake and finally sang happy birthday. Which my I just add was one of the worst renditions I have ever heard..but it made us all laugh extremely hard.

We topped the night off with a bottle of LOL wine, how appropriate for the day, and a scorpion bowl! It was the perfect ending to the perfect day.

I am so happy to have been blessed with such a great day and I am so grateful for what my mother had planned, and my friends for taking the whole day to spend it with me. I love you all with my heart.
